 Dear Louis Plumb,

I am writing to you today from my very own study. Well it was my partner's and mine, and because of my partner is why I have something to write to you.

Robin and me I have located your mother in Belfast. She is still working for the Copernics, and Mr. Copernic is still a watchmaker. But his business has grown considerably and he now has a proper shop and several workers at it. I must thank-you again for providing so much information in order to make this task much easier! Your mother is doing well as far as we were able to find out. Robin and me I spent a whole night trying to think and suggest contacts of ours for who to deliver your letter to her. All during it, all I could think of is how my partner would handle it. And it is because of the obvious answer to that, I am going to deliver your letter in person.

I had planned to be back in London late Friday evening, but I have booked a flight to Belfast instead. I will only be there a few hours, but it will be long enough to give her your letter and take a reply with me, if she should have one. So I would like for you to let Nathan, and Narciso know that I will not be back until Sunday or Monday now. I had wrote them before I decided on extending my trip, and I do not wish to cause them worry when I do not arrive as expected.

I hope all is well, or as well as it can be in The 'Neath.

 Scarlet,

When you were away from London, you thought to send me a letter. I did not expect it, but it made me feel thought of. And so, I am thinking to send you a letter of my own. I at first thought of writing you from a town called Walton-on-the-Naze, which is a lovely place by the sea. And then again while on the way from Cambridge. But instead I am writing you while in my very own study. Well not exactly just mine, but I am writing you from my home. Our little study inquiry agent office, in Frampton on Severn, Gloucestershire county.

I was in Bristol the day before yesterday. I must let you know that I contacted who you gave me references for. I did not plan to go by 'L.S. Cassius' while up here, but my references as such seem to be far more 'pretentious' than what I could have waved about on my own, so it was very fitting. I will not say who I met with, due to the post being routinely searched, but I will say that I had as neat of an appearance as I could manage when I did. I dressed and carried myself with the same manner that I did upon meeting one that I would become rather Reliable for. I even bought a tin of solution to slick my hair back professionally.

I considered not making contact with this person, and once my train arrived in Bristol, while eating a parcel of proper fried fish, I finally decided to set-up an appointment. The letters of reference were already prepared--would it not seem suspicious if they were never used as intended? Would it be worse to use them? With Elise's course of treatment seeming to just be "rest", I used the letter of introduction you gave me. Robin is a detective inspector for the Cambridgeshire Constabulary, so if there is any real problems with this contact, then I am most certain that he can handle it.

I would like to offer much gratitude for the whole basket you gave to me. The sunglasses, which I was there when you received, and for you to give them to me of all people. Well I do not know what to say to you, besides "thank-you". I wore them the first day, but I suppose I enjoyed the pain from seeing sunlight again far too much. I will treasure them. Such a gift was completely unexpected, I think that I should give you that, but I will treasure them.

---L. Cassius
